This project begins with a dream. Sleep feels like the most intimate space of our inner life, private, ungovernable, our own. Yet in times of war, conflict, and technological threat, certain nightmares stop belonging to us alone. They become shared, collective imprints of a political reality larger than any single life.

Drawing on the Sleep and Dream Database, I gathered nuclear nightmares dreamed between the 1960s and today, across decades and continents, and wove them into a single documentary poem. The text that emerged could have been dreamed by one person: a former physicist, raised in a closed nuclear city, whose family assembled warheads by hand.

I invite you to share this dream.
